Upon your arrival in Ouarzazate Airport, an experienced driver guide from Morocco Packages will welcome you or pickup you from your Riad and drive you in a comfortable Vehicle leaving Ouarzazate toward the Sahara Desert. On the way we will visit Todgha gorges One of Morocco’s exotic locations, here the rocks are height up to 300 meters, higher than the Empire state building in New York.

    From there we hit the road to Tinjdad or Touroug for lunch then set off for Rissani (the Gateway to Sahara Desert). Here we will make a stroll at its traditional local market which goes live every day a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday). The market is famous for leather, dates, and silver. On the afternoon we reach our destination Merzouga Desert. On the edge of the dunes mount your camels and head out to your desert camp in the golden sands of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Take in the sunset from the dunes and savor a traditional meal with Berber music beneath the stars. Overnight in a luxury desert camp.

      I did the 2-day tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga and Fes, and it was incredible! Although it was a short trip, we saw so much kasbahs, valleys, gorges, and of course, the amazing Sahara dunes. The camel ride into the desert at sunset was magical, and the camp experience was authentic and comfortable. The journey to Fes the next day through the Ziz Valley and the Atlas Mountains was beautiful. It’s a packed itinerary, but totally worth it if you’re short on time. Highly recommend!

      This 2-day tour was the perfect way to experience the Moroccan desert in a short time. We started in Ouarzazate and made our way through some breathtaking landscapes before reaching Merzouga. The highlight was definitely the camel trek and overnight stay in the desert such a unique experience! The drive to Fes the next day was long but scenic, and our driver made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of photo stops. If you want a quick but meaningful desert adventure, this tour is an excellent choice.
