Your adventure starts Today!! Upon your arrival in Marrakech International Airport, an experienced driver guide from Morocco Packages will welcome you or pickup you from your Riad and drive you in a comfortable Vehicle leaving Marrakech heading across the High Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass with an elevation of 2260 meters above sea level, we will make several stops before reaching the world-famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been the setting for many films.
Pause for lunch then we hit the road again to Ouarzazate where we can visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Afterwards we pass through Skoura oasis, Kalaat M’Gouna famous for the annual festival of roses. Late afternoon we reach our destination Dades, enjoy dinner and overnight in a fabulous Riad.
Today after a typical breakfast we continue the 3 Days Morocco desert tour! but before we leave the town, we pay a short visit to Dades Valley, noted for its kasbahs and red sandstone formations. This three-day desert trip was a fantastic approach to see the varied terrain and culture of Morocco. Beautiful views from the kasbahs and valleys to the dramatic desert environment abound throughout the trip. Riding camels, seeing the sunset over the dunes, and resting in a little tent under a star-filled night in the Sahara was something rather unique. Professional and polite, our guide assured everything worked well and offered insightful analysis. The Middle Atlas trip to Fes was picturesque and quiet. With so much to see between two of Morocco’s famous towns, this trip was well worth it and a fantastic means of getting between them.
